Workers' Compensation
If you have been injured while on the job due to a work-related injury, you may be entitled to wage benefits and medical care. New York State Workers' Compensation law provides that workers who suffer permanent injuries at work involving the loss of use of body parts are entitled to a schedule of payments. Death benefits are also available to the survivors of a worker who dies as a result of a compensable accident or occupational disease.
